ZEDEX® 200 family

High resilience & low creep – up to 140 °C

ZX-200® family is based on PK and, like PEEK, belongs to the group of polyketones. ZX-200® is comparable to PPS for its resistance to media & hydrolysis and to PEEK for its resistance to common chemicals.

ZX-200® has excellent elasticity, i.e. it can be greatly stretched and it relaxes back to its original state. Its thermal & mechanical properties are better than common PA and POM and it is ca. 10times more abrasion wear-resistant than common POM.

When to use the family ZX-200® ?

  • For temperatures up to 140°C
  • For low permeability
  • For parts that have to deform elastically due to the application, e.g. track rollers, gears, seals

When is the ZX-200® family not suitable?

  • With strong acids and strong alkalis (e.g. the ZX-600® family as alternative)
  • If high rigidity is required (e.g. modifications of ZX-200® as alternative – coming soon)
